The OTCQX is a new market established by the Pink Sheets that recognizes a group of companies as worthy of the consideration of investors. Qualified businesses can use the OTCQX process to offer credibility and attention to their companies, and better disclosure to investors than the standard Pink Sheet listing. The OTCQX offers small and medium publicly traded U.S. and foreign companies on international exchanges a better listing specifically designed to meet their needs.
OTCQX is a higher quality market brought forth by Pink Sheets with the purpose to raise the prestige of OTC listed businesses that, although are not member companies of a stock exchange, have bona-fide operating businesses and offer more accurate disclosure to the marketplace via Pink Sheet.
As opposed to most companies listed on the Pink Sheets, OTCQX companies furnish audited financials and other disclosures to Pink Sheets LLC. However, they are not required to fully report to the SEC.
The president of our company is qualified to be a DAD for the OTCQX.
